Helmsted is now a Schwab third-party data recipient

October 2, 2026

Schwab data, now in Helmsted. Connected to your household records.

Helmsted is now a third-party data recipient for Charles Schwab & Co. On September 22, 2026, we signed Schwab’s Master Data Access Agreement, and our first firm’s daily files began arriving on September 30.

For independent RIAs that custody at Schwab, that means balances, positions, transactions and cost basis can flow into Helmsted every business day, matched to the right client and household. No exports, and no re-keying.

Schwab joins Axos Advisor Services among the custodians whose data feeds we receive directly, and our DST Vision (SS&C) connection is actively in progress. On another custodian? No problem. We’ll work with you to get it added.

“Custodian data is the foundation for everything an advisor does in Helmsted,” said Sam Jurrens, Co-Founder and CEO of Helmsted. “Every custodian we add means less time keying in data and more time with clients.”

How to connect

Connecting takes one request from your firm in Schwab Advisor Center and a signature from your authorized signer. Because Helmsted already has a Master Data Access Agreement on file with Schwab, only your firm needs to sign. Data is shared only at your firm’s direction, and only for the master accounts you choose. Schwab completes the setup, and your files begin arriving in Helmsted every business day.

Our step-by-step setup guide is available on request at hello@helmsted.ai, and we’re glad to join your Schwab correspondence and handle the technical setup with you.

Helmsted, Inc. is not affiliated with or endorsed by Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., Axos Advisor Services or SS&C Technologies. Custodians do not review or recommend third-party data recipients, and each firm should complete its own due diligence. Schwab, Schwab Advisor Center, Axos and DST Vision are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to identify their services. Connections described as in progress are subject to change.
